Disney world Day 2

Animal Kingdom

day 2 of being at Disney, we all woke up feeling much better!! we really did need to sleep after all that driving.
the kids were looking forward to a day of adventure and rides, we started off with seeing daisy in her safari suit, the kids loved it. they all took pictures and turns to talk to her, Madison ran to her and hugged her, it was so sweet. after that we ventured off a little and found Tarzan, a young man who played his role really well,..
after taking some more pictures we decided to go on

• Kilimanjaro Safari

 ride. i did not realize that they had actual lions and tigers, as we ventured on our safari tour, our leader said that they had a bridge go down so we have to use an alternative route which was fine, until we got stuck and almost didn't make it off that bridge, and of course it happened to me who is terrified of heights and bridges, we did find out that that was actually part of the ride and they do that for the ride, boohoo i wish i knew that before i hopped on board.

we ventured off and found

• Finding Nemo - The Musical

 which was amazing, the show was a hit for all the kids, they loved it and the actors put on a great show.
we encountered

• Festival of the Lion King which was FANTASTIC!!! we did go off and explore more of the park, by far it was the smallest park and we managed to do it in the day we then went off to 
• Rafiki's Planet Watch we saw some really wonderful animals. we had a fast pass for 
• Kali River Rapids and it was pouring down with rain so that ride was shut down for the day, kids were upset about that one, but we promised we will get that next year :-) we did manage to get a ride in before the rain soaked us and that was the 
• Primeval Whirl i stayed back with the 3 younger ones and explored the gift shop. through out the day we explored discovery island and basically just enjoyed what it had to offer.we had lunch at Pizzafari and it was pretty good, the kids loved all the food the parks and resort offered. 
• we did end our day early which was around 5 pm due to animal kingdom closes at 6pm due to the animals and it was starting to storm,  we did get soaked pretty bad everyone was dripping wet.
