Pull pork and coleslaw sandwich budget meals

still have leftovers?
I did!! So I decided to use my left over pork loin for a pull pork and coleslaw sandwich, I can't take credit for the recipe I found it online but here are the ingredients you will need that you probably already have

So for the pork you will need your piece of pork I had tenderloin (cooked) left over from Christmas
If you are using raw pork make sure you cook it for 6-8hrs in the crock pot, so add 2 cups of chicken broth, 1 sliced thin onion, 2 tsp of cayenne pepper. Cook that for 3-4 hrs if your using cooked pork. If you are using raw pork cook between 6-8hrs on high

6hrs into the cooking time you will need to add your BBQ sauce, you can use your own, store bought or you can use the one I will list now.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9V7QSrVbc5k

1 1/2 cups of ketchup
1/2 cup of mustard
1/2 cup of brown sugar
3 tablespoon of cider vinegar
3 tablespoon of worstershire sauce
3 crushed garlic cloves
Let all ingredients cook together till they come to a boil, this sauce is tangy so if you want more sweetness add some more brown sugar.

You will add the BBQ sauce an hour before you turn it off.

For the coleslaw I used a premade mix and then just added my mayo sauce, which is
3/4 cup of mayo
2 teaspoon of cider vinegar
2 tablespoon of sugar

Let your coleslaw sit in the fridge to chill for at least 4 hrs.

Once you are ready to assemble your sandwich you will first pick your style of bread or bun, add your pull pork and top with coleslaw, pair with your favorite side, I didn't add a side as the sandwich was quite filling.

Well guys hope you enjoy this budget recipe, I will link the video so go ahead and check it out.
Don't forget to like, share and subscribe please we truly would appreciate it

Thanks again for following us. God bless you

lazy sunday

i don't know what it is about Sunday's but it's always a lazy day. other then church we literally do nothing else. today we didn't go to church, i feel bad now but we were dead tired, it has been a rough couple of days to say the lease, little girls have been really sick and they are still coughing, i had dinner ready so all i had to do was place it in the oven, Saturday's is a day where i make dinner for Sunday so when i get back from church i am not struggling to make dinner.

all day i have spent hanging out with the kids watching TV in bed, it feels good but to be honest after a while i have to get up and do something.

for dinner today we had a Sheppard's pie, it was truly amazing i tried this new recipe so make sure you look out for that as i will be posting a video on what i did different.

so when we were moving we had to leave alot of things behind especially big girl toys like princess kitchen and princess house, i had only bought this particular frozen castle last Christmas and they kids broke a few pieces of it, so it made me see how flimsy it was, so i told my husband i wanted to build a custom barbie house for them, i had attempted to make one for cher when she was little but she was not a girly girl and preferred being a tomboy lol, so this year i am going to attempt creating a custom barbie house from scratch, and whats even better i am going to take you along with me.

well guys i had a dishwasher to load, and a bubble bath calling my name. so until tomorrow.

as always y'all stay safe and be blessed

being thankful even when you feel like you can't

one thing that i am struggling with the past few months is not being thankful for what i do have and focusing on what i don't have or what i want to have, i have a set mind on what i want and where i want to be but in order for that to happen i know i myself have to change my ways, now the sad part is i know a few people who will read this and feel a pleasure knowing i feel down and then i know there are a lot of people out there who are going through the same thing and feel they can relate to this post.
one of the most things i am grateful in life for is my husband, now before you go and think my kids are not number 1? let me explain!
before my husband came into my life i was just lost, i was a single mom and was living in the shadows i was trapped, everything i did was wrong, according to everyone, if i spoke i caused an argument, it doesn't matter what i did or what i said i was always in the wrong and i was always estranged from everyone, i did not belong and i was not accepted, when my husband came into my life he showed me that i was important and i was special, at least to him, he opened the door to another level he showed me the way to believe in myself. he showed me that there is life and life can be beautiful and amazing, he made me see the light, i was reborn especially in my faith, god was real like really real. this man that god had sent loved me for me, never judged me or made me feel like i was nothing,he made me his queen. i am proud to say that for the past 15 years he has stuck by me no matter what and we are still going strong. that's why when i have to give thanks i have to go to him first, as its cause of him i am so passionate about my beautiful kids. my kids are my every day blessing, there are days when i am going to loose my mind and its really not them its more the situation, like every mom out there, there are times when i go to the bathroom to give myself a ''timeout'' and then its all good. sometimes just asking the lord to help me through this has worked wonders,my oldest child, my beautiful daughter saved my life in so many ways, i didn't know what love was really about till i laid eyes on her, when times were hard and depression was bad she made me smile no matter what people had to say about me. every time a child was born i was always worried if i would have enough love and time for each and every one, but as soon as they were born it would be falling in love all over again, there is no such thing as not having enough or not having enough time, believe me you just do it.
there is not a day that goes by that i don't think of our baby we lost, he would be walking around here and would almost be 12 now, but i know god had his reasons., there is always something that don't feel right or someone missing and then it hits me. another thing we struggle with is how bad we would love more kids to our family but cant, its hard especially when you know what your heart wants and needs.
some days its hard, when you know you need to talk to someone and there is no one, you have no family to talk to or call, my husband and i share everything but there are some things that only a real friend or family member would understand, being strong all the time gets tiring some days.

our goals as a couple and family is to own a home not a regular home our home, one thing i know we do all the time is live outside our means meaning we buy things and do things that have no meaning or necessity so for us to achieve our goal we have decided to budget and cut down all our spending and so far its working, it has been super challenging going into target and walking away especially from clearance items (lol) so its a learning process, by now the kids would have about 15 gifts each under the tree, and i don't have not even 1 under there, we have decided to cut from 15 to 5 each, i have a few just haven't wrapped them up yet, it has been super busy and i seriously haven't had much time to get out.

so what am i thankful for and need to make sure i never forget
my husband, who tolerates all the crazy i do and all my emotions, my kids whom make me a better person and teach me motherhood on a daily basis, i am grateful i get to stay home with these amazing kids to make sure they are safe and i owe this to my husband,.
instead of wanting ''my house'' so much be thankful i have a house to live in, as much as we want more children be grateful for our beautiful 6, instead of wanting certain things be grateful for what i have, so there it is, some confessions of a mom who just like you struggles.

y'all stay safe and blessed

and that's whats for dinner in the Bryan household. i am more then sure my husband will be catching some of this on camera so stay tuned for that. i would love to hear what y'all are having so please leave me a comment down below and let me know whats cooking in y'all kitchens or if your not doing the cooking.

Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe Large Family Living

hey guys!!

So its holiday season! which means it's baking season right?
there is one personal favorite recipes that i use for chocolate chip cookies and all the kids including my husband LOVE, like they will try to eat the whole batch in one go. now this batch here makes a larger batch then 24 i think all together it makes around 40? well depends on the size you wanna make them.
so i already made a batch and i wanted to share them with y'all. so let me tease you guys just a little with some pictures then i will post the recipe :-)
don't they look good?

i use whatever plastic container and lid i have empty that day to store them in, not that they last but i gotta try.

so here is my recipe, i found this recipe a few years ago and i tweaked it to my taste and use it ever since, when i am making to gift or freeze for another day i will sometimes double this recipe there has been occasions where i have actually tripled it.

1 cup of butter
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
2 eggs
3 tsp vanilla
3 cups of flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp of salt
2 tsp of milk
2 cups of chocolate chips
2 tsp of coco

just mix all these together and size them on how big you want them, after that bake in a 350f oven for about 10-12 minutes and BOOM you are done. you will have some amazing cookies that everyone will love.

i hope you have enjoyed this recipe, i hope you give it a try and please let me know, i would truly like to hear your feedback.

as always guys stay sage, god bless you.

Minestrone family tradition MY WAY

Growing up every Sunday my dad would take me to my grandfather and there he would cook this very large pot of Italian minestrone, he would also cook multiple things on Sunday but i have to say this soup was my favorite ever. my husband only likes certain soups and this one sadly he does not like, the kids and i love it and its a great way of getting a whole bunch of veggies in them without them complaining. so i taught i would share with you my minestrone soup my take, and hoping you will enjoy it as much as we do especially with winter coming up.
we use a very large stock pot so make sure you have a big one.

for this recipe you will need:

cauliflower
cabbage
squash
carrots
zucchini
potatoes
sweet potatoes
cans of tomatoes
can of tomato paste
small ziti pasta
seasoning - salt and pepper- chicken stock depending on how big your pot is

so the amount of veg you put in the pot is completely up to you, i always use like a whole cabbage and use half to make the soup and half to store in a Ziploc bag for another time.

you will start with putting the tomato paste in first and ''browning it'' then add your chicken stock half way and add all your veg leave behind the pasta for now. when you add your veg add the rest of the chicken stock, when your veg are all cooked and tender then add the pasta and turn it on the lowest burner and let it cook for about 10-15 minutes, always see if it needs more seasoning. now in our family we always add Parmesan cheese to top it off, it makes it oh so yummy and we really love cheese in this house.

so this is the final result, i had to use shredded carrots as that's all i had in the house and i did not want to head out just for carrots, so that's a good example that you can put any vegetable you want, you can also puree it or just mash it up a little so the kids don't know about all the veg. either way you do it you will love it if you enjoy soups, OH did i mention its a good slimming soup too?

hope you guys enjoyed this recipe from my kitchen and i will be posting more recipes
as always stay safe and blessed

What's Going on? Why so much budget ???

if you follow us then you know we are not ones to put our self on budgets even with a large family, we do watch what we buy but have never been too strict on it, over the past few months we have made some pretty drastic choices in our life, and have decided to turn things around, more than a 360. our path involves god as our leader, now if you know us god has always been number 1 in our life we have always tried our best as a family and as individuals to follow him and choose his path.

so let me just get to the point, the last few years we have certainly been living way beyond our needs and means, i mean we took a pretty expensive vacation that we could of put a lot down on our house, we bough a brand new min van along with a lawn business, add all your other means to that, and next thing you know you feel you are drowning and overwhelmed, so we have decided to live within our means and purchase our home cash or almost have it paid for,
as y'all know we did just move to Florida not even quite a month ago, but one thing that we have not been saying is Florida is our middle state meaning this is where we chose to stay until we find where we want to purchase our house, our goal is not to stay here more then 2 years, to be honest i hope its not more then one, but we shall leave that in the lord's hands.

we have some personal projects we are working on and praying they take off.

as far as moving we do like it up north but the problem with raising a family well large family it tends to be really pricey and that's why we moved down south to get a breather from that type of living.

we have been looking into Utah and Wyoming but i am not sure we would ''fit in ''  so we have given our self a few months to decide what state we want to buy a house in, research everything and take a few trips there to see how it is, yes its crazy but until you find your ''place'' you have to keep looking.

so again to the budget, i normally go to the grocery store, including Sam's club or Costco's or bj's and just spend and next thing you know i have spent $300-$500 on groceries and after a week I'm confused as to why we need more, i have realized that we are wasting too much and spending too much, a few years ago we decided to make everything from scratch and we saved so much money that we bought then our car cash, so i know that we are wasting and spending way too much.

our plans and goals?
live week to week, only buy what i am cooking for breakfast lunch and dinner and make everything from scratch, the past 2 weeks my grocery bills have been under $50 yup and that's for 8 of us!!! crazy right? i have only bought what i need for that week and used a lot from my pantry and made a lot of things. what we saved has gone in our 'moving funds' and 'van funds' why van funds you ask? well we have decided that paying $600 a month is outrageous for a car so we are going to trade her in and purchase a 14 passenger with no debt, we hope to do this by march, (not new) and save that money towards out ''moving funds'' our ''moving funds'' also get all the change we collect from that week, once we get the van then we can focus more on that.

i will be sharing some recipes on here and on our YouTube channel on how we save, i will also include my meal plans and what i will be cooking that week and the cost of everything and how saving is going, i hope that i can help someone along the way, i know our family has been over spending and we all are participating in this.
the kids love to travel so this is all adventures for them, yes it could be 2 years away but for the kids its like a treasure hunt believe it or not.

before i leave you i want to clear something, we are planning on buying our house ( still not decided where) in cash, it will obviously be a fixer upper and that's what we are looking for to make our own. we have seen so many houses going for under a hundred thousand and even under fifty thousand in some states, so we know potential is out there.

we ask you guys for prayer along this journey and we are so excited that we have taken this step to climb all the way up the right way.

you can subscribe to our channel right here and support us.https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUYPkOUWsypvEc_1a6rTXzQ

Meet The Bryan's: Long Monday

Meet The Bryan's: Long Monday: today has been a really long day and there has been multiple times where i just wanted to breakdown or just walk off, my 3 boys have been at...

Long Monday

today has been a really long day and there has been multiple times where i just wanted to breakdown or just walk off, my 3 boys have been at it like tom and Jerry, they have not stopped, now yes boy's do fight and have days where its like WHAT!!! but seriously today was on another level, and what made it worst i had no energy for some reason, well i know what going on its just a regular day for a diabetic, and if you have it you know what i am talking about.
i also had some paper work that needed taken care of for there home school for the kids which i just finished printing right now and its gone midnight, i haven't had a day like this in forever so i think i felt it more. i have to say it was a blessing my husband was home today as he really helped out a lot with the kids.
Madison has been going through some screaming sessions which is so not her, so that makes it worst, i think people think when you have a large family your house is always loud and noisy and to be honest that is not always the case, sometimes the house is so quiet you wouldn't even think there are 6 kids in the house,
every year around this time i always get excited about the holidays but this year for some reason i am not that excited, i guess it could be due to that we are in Florida and its still 80 degrees out there, no boots no jackets so we are not used to that type of weather, i think we are all missing our fall clothes and fall weather.
my husband and i were talking that within the next 2 years we will obviously move back up north somewhere but right now we need to be here, this is where the lord wants us.
today was the first time we went to the library and i have to say it was so different from what we are used to, we are all trying to adjust to a different atmosphere and i think some of us are finding it harder then some, i know we will all adjust soon.

i have so many emails to get caught up with, i think a lot of people think that i have ignored them but life has been so hectic with trying to get caught up, my husband getting his job and i am really trying to make a go at this YouTube thing :-) along with blogging which i have some new things coming for you guys, so stay tuned.  homeschooling is not that bad but sometimes it can be hectic along with 6 kids.

well i will leave it at that and i will have some new things for you guys this week so stay tuned and don't forget to head over to YouTube and subscribe to our channel its called bryanfamilylife  so guys as always stay safe and god bless y'all thank you for reading my blog.

How Florida Is Different??

Wow just wow, that's what we have been saying!!
So living in the north for 10 years you become a custom to every one's behavior and how people act, if your from up north you know what i am talking about.
So Maryland has a tendency to be known as a very rude state, well the people are not very friendly?!

We all heard about Southern hospitality at some point Haven't we? Well when we got here we were not prepared on how much hospitality you actually do get.

All the neighbors in my circle came knocking wishing us well and introducing themselves, Wait What? that never happened in Maryland!! everyone holds doors for you, everyone talks to you without actually wanting something, well 99% of them :-)
it has been a very different atmosphere that's for sure.
do i like it? i think it takes a while to get used to your different environment and certain parts of me does miss certain things, but everything is positive so i cant complain as much. another things that i am trying to get used to is, things are slower here compare to Maryland, everything was a face pace every day battle there here everyone is laid back and things work slower, a lot of people around here keep telling me that Jacksonville is a planet on its own. i am starting to see that, i do love the laid back part and i do like how mostly everyone is nice, i am just trying to adjust to a different lifestyle.

i met this amazing officer, she was hilarious and even gave me her number, she loved our family  and we truly loved her, the friendly atmosphere that comes with people is a blessing is this crazy scary world.
Now don't get me wrong. there are some things that have made ms shake my head and look twice, i have even laughed,  i am not sure if the lord wants me here for a long period of time but slowly slowly he is revealing his path for our family.

in the past we taught we wanted to settle down and build roots but now we are discovering that until we find our ''ROOTS'' we will keep searching even if it means travelling ( the kids love that one) for now we will be here for the next year or two making memories with amazing people we meet and learning new things every day of our path.

so we hope you come along with us and our journey and join us on this adventure.

as always stay safe and blessed

so this deal is going on till november 30th i have to find time to check this out myself, homeschool can get pretty hectic without the right stuff don't y'all think?

when your down

I think at some point every mom feels down and alone, i know even with 6 kids 5 cats and a husband i am in a really depressed mood zone right now, i have so many emotions rolling into one and i find myself battling with so many sad emotions.
today i was brought back to earth by a very dear friend of mine who reminded me about so many things, reminded me about my faith and god will never leave me, reminded me that i need to push out all that bad energy and fill it up with the good.

I reminded myself what i love best and that is to write, i love to write about anything that pops into my head, i find writing to be relaxing and calming, so i have come to the conclusion that i need to do more of it. even if its only writing about my day its a start, one day i will have the self esteem and motivation to publish one of my books.

today kids were done school by 11am so we had  a pretty short morning, after they did there reading they were allowed too play on there tablets while i cleaned up and checked on there grades.

i also started exercising today and it felt so good gave me energy too, i am looking forward to another day of working out tomorrow even if it is for 20min a day.

well guys i will leave you at this and write something more in detail.

it's coming to an end

today hit me that we are coming to the end of October and next thing you know its thanks giving and then Christmas, i truly don't feel as though i have been productive this year, there was a lot of things going on with our landlord in Maryland and it was just a whole depressing thing, i truly hated being home or even pulling up to the home was depressing enough, i always felt down and used to find myself in tears just being there.

it amazes me how much influence this place had on me and my family, it made me feel truly miserable most days.

this was another reason why we chose to move not only house but we decided to try and make it in another state as Maryland was not fitting our family needs, Florida is not our what we call final destination its a destination for now due to many things, one thing our family loves is the snow and of course Florida don't have snow.
we decided to move here to give us a chance to what we call a breather, i can finish my school and stay home and home school, the kids will have more activities to do especially during there time off, my husband needed to change careers as it was a dangerous job and we all were starting to feel afraid when he left the house.
we decided to get a 2 year lease on a house in a very nice location close to what we need and not too far from major attractions.
in the next 2 years we then can decide what we want to do, our goal is to purchase our own home, but we are not sure where we want to purchase, finding that perfect location can be very hard when you have a whole family to think of and every ones needs.
i truly would love some information if you have it on what you think is the perfect location to raise a family, obviously there is no such thing as perfect but we can dream right?

another thing i want to focus on next yer is publishing a book, my dream has always been to publish a book as i love to write and i did start the process years ago and decided to quit, my husband encourages me a lot and always tries his best to support me, its just i don't feel confident in myself.
another dream of mine is for YouTube to take off, not me but my kids and husband love doing it, if you follow us on YouTube you know that I'm mostly behind the camera.

Olive Garden chicken gnocchi soup (copy cat)

Hey guys

I wanted to share one of my favorite soup recipe that we love, every time we go to Olive Garden we would order it, I always wondered how to make it and after research and some tweaking of my own I think this is as close as you will ever get. I am going to write the recipe here but I also made a video on it so I will be sure to link it in here and don't forget to subscribe to our blog and YouTube channel.
So you will need:

1 whole rotisserie chicken shredded or cubed
6 cups of whole milk
6 cups of chicken stock
1 1/2 cups of shredded carrots
2 cups of chopped spinach
4 pieces of chopped green onion
Parmigiana cheese
For this you will need to make a rue which is butter and flour cooked into a paste then add your liquid.
Once you do a rue add all liquid and add all your ingredients don't forget to season with salt and pepper to taste.

The Struggle With Fertility!!

when i get asked how many kids i have and i answer 6, people sure wouldn't think that i  struggle with fertility problems.
So it has taken me a very long time to open up about this and i have decided to explain and go a little into detail about what really is the problem.
I conceived my first 3 with no problems, i have had short yet very painful labors with all the kids. with my first i almost died as i hemorrhaged pretty bad, but that's another thing to tell at a later date.
When i got pregnant with my 4th baby we were really over joyed as it took about 3 months when it happened, at that time we were living in Europe and seeing your doctor before 8 weeks is not really a thing there. so i went for my first scan when i was about 18 weeks into my pregnancy, this was almost 12 years ago so seeing as i had kids prior my doctor' was not too worried so a scan was scheduled later as everything looked fine other wise including blood work.
the day of my scan i went in alone as my husband just started a job and couldn't take off, the technician seemed to be pressing really hard on my stomach and kept asking me my dates again and kept stopping and starting the scan.she suggested that i go into the doctors office for a scan to be performed by him as he is having problems finding a heart beat.so i called the receptionist and she got me in that same evening, this time my husband was with me and i was a bundle of nerves, even with all the support my husband gave me i still knew something was wrong. the moment came and he performed a vaginal ultrasound, and to our horror the baby didn't have a heartbeat,we both looked at each other and without words knew just how we felt. the worst part was i had to go home and wait to miscarriage. he had said i should miscarriage the baby in 2 weeks, the worst part of walking out the office was knowing my baby was dead inside me and i couldn't do a thing, 20 weeks came along and signs of miscarriage started, i had to be taken by ambulance as i was starting to hemorrhage again. the only thing i remember is being rushed to the emergency room put on a wheelchair and there was blood dripping everywhere, the performed a emergency DNC and the next thing i remember was waking up wrapped in foil cover to keep me warm.i remember having all the nurses ask me if i was OK and the only thing i could say was yes, i just wanted to be alone and not talk to anyone.
Our doctor said we could try again in 6 weeks. so we did try and got pregnant again. it took some time but we had a beautiful rainbow baby boy who is now 10 years old. after having him i taught i was done having kids, i now had 4 and i taught that's a good number to stop and after the year and half we had i wasn't sure i wanted to go through that again. a year later we moved back to the states and something lighted inside and my husband felt the same way, so we decided to try again. this time it took 6 months and we had a little scare as i was showing signs of miscarriage in the beginning. after having a beautiful baby girl after 3 boys i knew i wanted another little girl, so we started trying again and it took 22 months of trying which were super stressful and we gave up a few times. at this time we knew wanted 8 kids and even thou that sounded crazy for many people who saw us together and our kids understood how much our family matters. so after 22 months of trying and praying for another blessing the lord gave us a beautiful baby girl, i remember telling my husband that i don't know how late i am so he said take a test it cant hurt, i took the test and my husband was the one waiting, next thing i know we are both in tears and hugging each other, the next day my doctor did a scan and there was this beautiful blessing with a strong heartbeat and i was already 9 weeks. our doctor suggested and gave us the go ahead that if we wanted we were clear to start trying right away as everything went perfect, so we did, our baby girl now is no longer a baby girl she is going to be 4 this December. it has been over 3 years that we have been trying, we have been on fertility medication and 3 failed IUI's in April we decided to stop trying and stressing about it. we both have decided to do whatever it takes to get our minds off it. its still a hard journey even thou we have both found peace somehow, what makes it harder is looking at the kids and knowing i can never have more,i am super blessed and i thank the lord for what i have every single day, some people may think its selfish wanting more when you already have kids but everyone has there own needs and wants and the heart knows what it wants. my heart breaks and goes out to every woman struggling weather its the first child or second, having second infertility has been something that I'm still struggling with,
i don't know if we will ever have another bundle of joy to hold but i do know everything happens for a reason, right now our only focus is on our kids and homeschooling and moving and my husband starting a new job. its hard sitting here writing about it but it also helps getting it off my chest.

if you have read this and are still reading THANK YOU!!

My Husband Did What????

SO yup we did it, we finally did it...... Ahhh here goes!!!

My husband gave his 2 week notice in at the department and will end his job September 2nd!! this has been a very long coming life change for us, we have been talking about this for a very long time, even though my husband will remain in the same field of work which is law enforcement we have decided to follow our dreams.
We will be saying goodbye to our state and saying HELLO to a new one. I won't include where we are going just yet due to negativity i refuse to feed people with that.
Our big move should be within the next 8 weeks. SOoo now i am scared and excited and anxious and my husband is happy as a kid, he can't wait.... i hate that i suffer with so much anxiety, but i guess someone in the house has too right?

We have been discussing moving for almost 2 years and we have always let things get in the way of chasing our dreams, this time we have decided to give it to god stop worrying and just roll with it as my husband says' my husband has decided to stay in his line of work till maybe something else comes along that he likes, but for now we are stick to what he is qualified in.

We have decided to shout it out to the world, we are happy, we are excited and i don't think we have ever been so ready. We have prayed about it as a family as individuals and as husband and wife, so far god has opened every door we need open so we are taking it as a green light.
We have done multiple research on different states and we had brought it down to 2 and last week we finally picked it and the location, it was a favorite for a few years so it wasn't hard.

All kids are excited and so ready for the move, they truly can't wait. it's a scary move as there are always thoughts at the back of your head if you have done the right thing or if its a mistake or anything else that pops up. living in doubt has never been a thing that i do or for my husband so we would rather have a lesson learned then never knowing.

Obviously the packing started a few weeks back when we knew that we were packing up but now its so real, our joke is we are packing up 6 kids 5 cats and rolling out.

The lord has never lead us in the wrong direction and i know he will never give us more than we can handle, we are super excited yet scared for leaving all the beautiful friends that turned into our family the last 10 years, but we are excited to make new friends and be part of a new church community. Leaving wasn't a hard thing to figure out we have nothing here other than my husbands job, i have no family and my husband don't have close relationships with his sadly so whats ya gonna do!!

Over the years we have learned the hard way that time does not wait for nobody and you have to make the best of it,Well that's it guys, i have been wanting to announce that we are moving for a long time but i had to wait till it was official with his job and other employment and so on.

I hope you will come along the ride with us, and i will be sure to post and upload videos on everything that's going on.

As always stay safe and blessed

Flourless peanut butter cookies (my version)

Ever feel like a cookie but just don't have the energy to make them or be bothered, but wait then when you, you realize oh CRAP I'm diabetic I can't eat those, maybe a bite right? Well I'm not a huge fan of peanut butter but it does give me a little sweetness when I need it, especially in a cookie. So what's so different about these? I use brown sugar instead of white which makes some difference, even thou sugar is sugar so you still have to be careful on how much sugar you consume.

Look at me again babbling on....
Here's the recipe 3 ingredients that's it.

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg.

Mix it all up,that's it! Simple right? You don't even have to roll them in a ball and dent them, there only going in your belly or kids belly in my case with the exception of 1 whole cookie that's all mine😁😁😁
Here is that short video to go with it guys!

And while your at it don't forget to like share and subscribe. Where's my manners, PLEASE

Well folks thanks again for coming along this journey with me, even simple things help go along way!

Fried chicken and biscuits done our way!

As I promised in the video this is my recipe for biscuits, my kids and husband love these, they tend to taste a little like Popeyes" biscuits. My kids love putting jelly on them, sweet butter and sometimes they are known to put Nutella on them too. So let me not bore you anymore and give you the recipe.

2 - 2 1/2 cups of plain flour (depends on weather)
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 tablespoons shortening
3/4 stick butter
Ice cold water

Mix all ingredients except water until all crumbly and combined, start adding water slowly till you have a dough feel yet a little sticky feel, once you can handle it without it sticking everywhere just form a disc and with your hands push down with the palm of your hands. Get your cutter and just keep repeating that, I normally get 16 biscuits out of this.
Hope you enjoy and be sure to check the video out. Don't forget to like, subscribe and share👇🏻

As always guys stay safe and blessed
